SEC Analytic Workshop (three-day session)
The objective of this workshop is to ensure that staff receive a solid understanding of the wealth of data that SEC generates. The SEC can generate so much data, of such compelling interest, that it is easy to lose sight of the reasons why a district or school conducted the SEC. This workshop sequence keeps the process focused and moving forward, capitalizing on the skills of experienced SEC facilitators.

Topic Definitions Guide (coming fall 2004)
The topics listed in the SEC content frameworks reflect the content of each subject as described in state and national standards. In this Guide, each term will be clarified with additional text and examples of instructional activities used to teach the topic. Samples of classroom assessments that measure development of the topic will also be provided. This tool is in development and is expected to be available by fall 2004.
